Start with the calendar you follow
Choose the country and year whose holidays matter to your work or travel plans. Review the holiday categories, regional scope, and any estimated dates before using them as planning assumptions.
Enter your actual workweek
A planner that assumes the wrong weekend can miss useful breaks or suggest dates that do not fit. Select every day you normally work, including a non-standard week if it applies to you.
Set constraints before comparing options
Enter your annual leave budget and a realistic days-off target. Add dates when you cannot take leave, exclude holiday types that do not apply to you, and choose a break limit. Bridge-Day recalculates the suggestions as these settings change.
Compare leave efficiency and practicality
A long break is not automatically the best break. Compare the total consecutive days off with leave used, account for family and work commitments, and check estimated dates before booking. The optimizer provides options; it does not request or approve leave.
